Arrangements under inclement weather conditions: 

 

To ensure the safety of the public and all participants, the following arrangements will be implemented in the event of adverse weather conditions:
 
If a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory three hours prior to the scheduled start of an activity, the activity will be postponed or cancelled, regardless of whether the signal is subsequently lowered.
 
If any of the above signals are issued during the course of an activity, all activities will be immediately suspended. 
 
For other adverse weather conditions not specified above, HKRCH will assess the situation with safety as the highest priority and determine whether the activity should proceed based on the prevailing circumstances.
